It’s about the music. Activeminds Productions is dedicated to creating commercially viable yet artistically satisfying recordings and launching performing artists that are branded to stand out on an international level. Activeminds Productions are pioneers in the ever-changing landscape of the new music industry. While they are as multi-faceted and involved with the artist as the old model label, Activeminds take a new approach with artists who own their recordings, names and likeness and must assist in the steps taken in their projects, learning by doing. In this sense Activeminds provides bands & artists with not only a fiercely competitive brand and international quality recordings but also with the tools needed to build a solid foundation and a lasting career in the music industry. Co- owner Phil Lehmann founded Activeminds Productions in October 2004 as a music production house. Tara Lett joined as co-owner of Activeminds Productions in July 2011 expanding the company into a full service artist development and Production Company. Together Phil and Tara song write and produce music as well as oversee a team that executes radio promotion, DMDS music servicing, tour booking, event planning, grant writing, sponsorship arrangements, Film & Television placements, branding and image consultation. Activeminds continues to manage some artists after development such as the quirky indie pop act “The Oh Well’s” Top 20 Peak Performance Project Winners. Operations are located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, British Columbia.
